Delta is a municipality in British Columbia located south of Vancouver within the Metro Vancouver region. The area includes several distinct communities, including Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta.
The municipality is known for its agricultural lands, coastal environments and port facilities along the Fraser River and Strait of Georgia. Ferry terminals and transportation routes connecting Vancouver Island and the mainland are also located in Delta.
