Erin Woods is a vibrant residential neighbourhood located in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It stands out with its strategic position at the eastern edge of the city, bounded by 52 Street E to the east, Peigan Trail to the south, and the Canadian National Railway tracks to the north and west. Established in 1981, following its annexation by the City of Calgary in 1961, Erin Woods has grown to become a thriving community.

As of the 2006 census, it had a population of 6,994 residents, with a density of 4,398.7/km² (11,393/sq mi). The community has continued to grow, with the 2012 municipal census reporting a population of 6,901 living in 2,453 dwellings—a 1.6% increase from the previous year.
