Red Carpet spans an area of 0.5 km² (0.2 sq mi), sitting at an elevation of 1,055 m (3,461 ft). One of the neighborhood’s prominent features is its proximity to Elliston Park and Elliston Lake, home to the GlobalFest fireworks show—a significant attraction in Calgary.

Demographics

As of the 2012 municipal census, Red Carpet had a population of 1,555, a slight decrease from its 2011 population of 1,630. The community has a population density of 2,590/km² (6,700/sq mi).
