Saanich is a large district municipality located on southern Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It forms part of the Greater Victoria region and surrounds much of the provincial capital.
The municipality includes a mixture of residential neighbourhoods, farmland and extensive natural parks. Mount Douglas and other natural landmarks provide scenic viewpoints and recreational areas within the municipality.
